Sacred Datura

Here you see a deadly beauty, the sacred datura. It is one of the few plants the cows won't graze on at the B's, somehow they know! When I was in high school, a friend of mine experimented by eating one of the spiny fruits of this plant, and ended up in a coma for several days. He survived, but was, well... different after that. Living in the Central Valley will drive you to try strange things!
